This fell upon us in Saturday evening.
Although the drive home from work was nerve racking, I was able to capture some of those moments in pictures. I like the mood felt in these.
That is all, for now.
Yesterday was a very nice time with family. I didn’t get any group photos this year, or pictures of food, but I did get the usual casual, candid shots.
This year my grandparents and Aunt Ruth, my parents and me, my Aunt Linda and Uncle Dean, as well as my cousins Jonathan, Christopher and his wife Amy, and Benjamin and his wife Jenni and their baby Ellie were all there.
We also celebrated my Grandma’s birthday. 😀
We had this view of the beautiful sunset on the way home.
Well, it’s back to work today. I look forward to Monday, as usual. Monday is pretty much Saturday at this job.
That is all, for now.
Good evening! 🙂
I’m linking up for Scavenger Hunt Sunday. Here are my interpretations for the week.
1. When I Grow Up
I’m 27, and I still don’t know this. I’ve changed my mind on this too many times. I guess I’ll just happily drink from my journalism travel mug and take each day as it comes.
My parents’ living room ceiling pattern.
A Coke with my name on it. Festive.
Taken in October. There are triangles in the bridge. Yup. Triangles.
Also taken in October. Fancy-looking birds nest seen while I was on the trails.
I am linking up for Scavenger Hunt Sunday. I haven’t participated in awhile. Here are my interpretations for the week. 🙂
The temperatures are dropping. We have a couple warm days here and there, but I’m loving the crisp, cool and also the cold, quiet moments we’ve had.
I was listening to the radio, a form of media, while sipping on coffee in the car. I had to capture the reflection of the autumn tree I was parked under.
3. Something New
My Mom is starting the next year of her life. My parents and I celebrated her birthday this past weekend. Turning one year older is starting something new.
Well, I haven’t dug out my scarves yet, although I’m looking forward to wearing my winter accessories. Scarves, hats, gloves, and ear muffs. It’s coming. 😀
A few weeks ago, however, I got this picture of Precious the cat at my parents house. How Precious has her tail wrapped around sort of looks like a scarf.
Hi, there. It’s time for Scavenger Hunt Sunday. Here are my interpretations for the week.
I’ve been loving Mondays lately. It’s one of my days off, and it’s a chance for me to catch up on things to do, or to hang out with or visit my parents. Sometimes, Mondays are a nothing day. It makes working weekends worth it.
Well, last week on the way to my parents’, I had this amazing view. No words needed.
3. Less is More
Here, you see less of my face taking up more of the photo. Haha. 😀
The moon… high in the sky. This was taken three nights ago.
I was happy to have watched a few minutes of the lunar eclipse (blood moon!) when I came home from work last night.
5. Photographer’s Choice
Look who bummed a ride from me this week. 🙂
